AFT Mission Statement

What does my union do?

The SEA has many faucets. The most prevalent are negotiating salaries and insurance benefits. On the sidelines your SEA Executive Board works to conduct professional development, governmental relations, member rights, and many other behind the scenes activities for the membership. 

Who belongs to the SEA?

Our membership includes classroom teachers, art, music, physical education specialists, content area specialists, special education teachers, Registered Nurses, and many other licensed educators eligible to be in our bargaining unit. We currently have a little over 280
